Huron OPP looking for feedback
The Huron OPP is asking the
public to grade their report
card.
Beginning this week on
Sunday, Feb. 25, a two-month
telephone suv+vey will begin to
improve the quality of policing
being delivered and determine
the public's perception of safe-
ty and service from police.
Volunteers are making ran-
dom phone calls from the
Huron OPP detachment south
of Goderich and entering the
results into a software pro-
gram.
The results will be compiled
into a package that will provide
vital feedback for the OPP to
determine what the concerns
and priorities are in the com-
munity for the next two years.
Detachment Commander
Dan Grant said participating
in the survey "gives us an
indication of where we can
improve our efforts in
order to provide the best
service possible to this
community."
The calls will be com-
pleted between 9 a.m. and
9 p.m. and the entire sur-
vey takes approximately
10 minutes.
The subject matter cov-
ers all aspects of policing
including some of the local
programs that are offered.
