Haggling with scalpers just as fun
as meeting Toronto media big wigs
From Page 4
And then, defying all odds, as if we had stumbled upon
the only scalper in North America
with a heart in his chest rather than
a vault, my father found that one -
in -a -million scalper who gave him
that ticket - for a seat two rows from
the top, in the far corner of the ACC
- for $150.
His seat may have been closer to
the heavens than the actual ice, but

my father couldn't have been happier. (Nothing beats
being at a sporting event in person to share in the
experience with thousands of fans.)
Later on in the evening, I had a great time shooting
the hockey game, meeting some Toronto media big
wigs, and even perusing through the Leafs' locker room
as the likes of Mats Sundin and Andrew Raycroft were
interviewed feet away from me.
It was an unforgettable experience, one I'll look back
on years from now with equal fondness of my time
spent not just inside the ACC, but the time with my
father outside before the game.

province which farmers need to be involved
in.
They are the Environmental Bill of
Rights (EBR), Source Water Protection, and
AgriculturallsPolicy Framework (APF II,
"CAIS").
These meetings will impact farmers' bank
accounts both positively and negatively. For
more information on these and other meet-
ings contact your local OFA office or your
local county representative.
Your farm, your family and your commu-
nity rely on you to know what is going to
happen that will affect your farm business.
Without a doubt these issues will come at
a cost to your business, along with an
invoice and a letter telling you, "you must
comply.

Trespassing snowmobilers
disrespect Egmondville property
To the Editor,
Snowmobilers are thoughtless and rude.
Has no one in Egmondville respect for
other people's property? We came home at 8
p.m. from visiting our son, only to find
snowmobile tracks across our driveway and
lawn about four feet from our garage
entrance.
There are many fields and trails in this
area. Why do snowmobilers have to use peo-
ple's front lawns and public streets?
