Gaffney Electncal is now inviting applications for the following positions:
ELECTRICIANS: To fill full time openings doing a wide vanety of electrical installations,
repairs and maintenance on mainly industrial buildings and equipment. The successful
applicant will be able to make installations / repairs to customer specifications, be able to
work overtime when required, have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
We offer an attractive wage and benefit package.
Applications must include work experience, work references, and a copy of your Certificate
of Qualification.
PART TIME RECEPTIONIST/CLERICAL ASSISTANT: This position includes
answering and directing incoming telephone calls, general office duties as assigned. The
successful applicant must have a courteous and pleasant telephone manner, be able to take
and deliver detailed messages and be able to follow established and new procedures.
Knowledge of Simply Accounting and Microsoft Office would be beneficial. This position
would be Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6 to 7 hours per day, the schedule may be
arranged to suit family commitments.
PART TIME SHOP HELPER: The duties for this position include shop up keep, sorting
and organizing materials, minor tool and equipment repairs, painting and all tasks as
assigned. The successful applicant must be mature, mechanically inclined; a minimum G2
license is preferred but not necessary. This is an ideal position for a student.
Successful applicants for these positions will be motivated, with a positive and
cooperative attitude, be able to follow detailed instructions, willing to follow all safety
procedures and be able to work effectively without supervision.

1, 2007. Catherine Isobel Mabel (McInnes) Hey
in her 74th year. Survived by her loving husband
Victor Charles Hey. Cherished and much loved
mother of Paul John Hey and wife Carol Ann of
Seaforth. Special aunt of Bill Kirkpatrick and
friend Kerry Farrell of Amestburg and Jack & -
Lois Kirkpatrick of Kincardine and many nieces
and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John
& Catherine McInnes, sisters Enid, Mabel and
Florence and her husband James Kirkpatrick.
Friends were received at McCallum & Palla
Funeral Home, Goderich on Thursday January 4,
2007 from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 4
p.m. Mary Jane Bisset officiated. Interment
Maitland Cemetery. Donations to the Lupus
Foundation gratefully acknowledged. Friends

LEFLER, Herman Gerald: Peacefully at Norview
Nursing Home, Simcoe, January 4, 2007,
Herman Gerald Lefler in his 75th year. Loved
husband of Noreen (McEwing) Lefler. Dear father
of Gerald and Debbie, Richard, Mark and Lisa,
John and Maggie, Murray Hall and Laura
Benson. Loving grandfather of seven and great
grandfather of four. Brother-in-law of Alena Lefler,
Beth Read, Marjorie Cartwright, Alex and Sharon
MacEwing of Maryhill and Karen and John
McConnell of London. Predeceased by his
parents, three brothers and parents-in-law, John
and Janie McEwing. The funeral service was
held Saturday, January 6, 2007 with Pastor Mark
Bertram officiating. Interment was in Greenwood
