We have worked very dili- gently in November for the Christmas bazaar. A tremen- dous amount of time 'was devoted to baking and mak- ing crafts. Our staff worked side by side with residents to get everything ready. It was a huge success. We will now begetting geared up for the Christmas Family Dinner. It is very spe- cial to have our loved ones with us for this event. Our dinner is on Dec. 7 so don't Seaford' Manor nor I4etirf'u ent li���i(IrI1�•f• delay with your RSVPs. The turkey dinner is always delicious and the best part is the Christmas pudding. lb let you rest your tummies after dinner, we have Christmas caroling that everyone is wel; come to participate in. On Christmas morning our residents gather around the Christmas tree and we would like each resident to have a gift to open. We Gifts wanted for I Angels campaign Sunday morning St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dublin enjoyed a homily to begin its Parish Mission, conducted by Redemptorist, Fr. Eugene (Red) O'Reilly. The Mission began on Saturday and Sunday and will finish tonight, Dec. 6th. Once again, Children's Liturgy will be preparing Angels for the Angel Tree. Unwrapped gifts for a boy or girl (0-16 years of age) can be dropped off at St. Patrick's Church on or before Sunday, Dec. 17. THOUGHT FOR TODAY Advent is both a beginning and an end, an alpha and an omega of the church's year of grace. This rich and many -layered season is ,designed to prepare the Christian for Christmas.
