Since we have had so much moisture maybe we won't have much snow. Rev. John's sermon at Cavan United Church was titled "From Fear to Faith." As this was the first Sunday of Advent the first Advent . candle was lit by Zack, Farren and Mike Goos. Greeters and collectors were Brian and Carolann Campbell. I know many people enjoyed the Sawmill Road Farm Machinery Parade .on Saturday evening as many driveways, field entranceways and sideroads were filled with watchers. A lot of time and work, not to mention lights, went into the deco- rating of the machines. The hay loader brings back fond memories of my life on the farm. It was a great parade and hopefully anyone who missed it will reserve this date for the next year.
