Fitoussi said the soldiers were dedicated,
professional and liberating the Afghan
people from "a terror that has for the most
part been unreported for decades."
Fitoussi is still working on a film with
3World Media called The Ghosts of War:
Canada wages Peace in Afghanistan.
"I feel it is my responsibility to show
Canadians what they died doing. The film
I complete will be dedicated to these men,"
he said.
As well, he is touring North America
with a series of photos he's taken over the
past five years, including photos of the
tsunami, Afghanistan and Cambodia,
where he raises money for victims of land-
mines.
"On Remembrance Day, it's very impor-
tant to remember the fallen soldiers but
it's also important to recognize the civil-
ians caught in the middle. (That includes)
the Afghan people, who
are very brave and the
people- of Cambodia
where .the war's been
finished for 10 years
but there are still vic-
tims, some of them
younger than you," he
told the students.
