Friends were received at the Box and Smith Funeral Chapel, 47 High St., Seaforth, on Saturday from 2- 4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service was held on Sunday, November 5, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. Interment Maitlandbank Cemetery. Pastor Stephen Hildebrand officiated. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Egmondville United Church, or the charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated. Honourary pallbearers were Tom Fletcher and Wayne Ward. Flower bearers were granddaughters Cynthia, Amy and Marcie McClure. Pallbearers were grandsons Shane McClure, Steven McClure, and nephews Fred McClure, Don Dalton, Stewart Glousher and Elmer Sanderson.
