renovations

Central Huron Secondary
School's gym renovations have
hit a one-month delay, but prin-
cipal Herb Klassen is confident
the new state -of the -art facility
will be well worth the wait.
"What has happened is that
the floor is taking much longer
than originally planned," he
explained in an Oct. 6 interview.
"We're probably looking at
about another month if all goes
well."
The hardwood floor requires
numerous layers of sealer — each
taking at least 24 hours to dry —
and two to three days alining.
When the floor is done, the
gym divider and seating must
also be installed.
"They're doing a quality job,
but it's slow going," Klassen said.
