St. Anne's students braved the cold and snow for the school's first ever Amazing-Race-a-thon
fundraiser last Thursday morning. The event featured a variety of activities including soccer, road
hockey, an obstacle course and tug of war. More than $10,000 was raised for the school's sound
equipment and outdoor track. Donations will also be made to the local United Way, Crime Stoppers
and Make A Wish Foundation. Pictured are event organizers Valerie Otten (front
