Seaforth Public boys place first
at regional tournament in Brucefield

Seaforth Public School's
senior boys' soccer team
took first place earlier this
week at a regional tourna-
ment at Huron Centennial
Public School.
Going undefeated in five
games, the boys finished
with 13 points, one ahead
of Clinton Public School
for first place.
"We were very happy
with the results," said
coach Jason Steinacker
afterwards.
"We weren't sure what to.
expect. We were hoping
our practising paid off," he.
added.
Final scores in the boys'
games were 1-1 against
Hullett, 3-0 over Blyth, 1-
1 against Huron
Centennial, 2-1 over
Clinton Public School and
1-0 over another team
from Huron Centennial.
Huron Centennial fin-
ished third on the boys'
side.
Meanwhile, SPS senior
girls' team tied for third
overall with Clinton
Public, after recording two
wins and two losses.
"We had a lot of chances
to put the ball in," said
coach Georgina Remolds.
