Sandra Morey, Laurie Dolmage, Carol Henry and Chris Bruxer spent a relaxing weekend at a Bayfield cottage recently. Carolyn Somerville, Kate McNichol and Diane McNichol spent two weeks touring New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. They were in N.B. when the storm passed so missed that event. They visited several of the high- lights of the Martimes including Cape Breton Island. Beatrice, Bob and Ruth Campbell of the Winthrop area, accompanied by Jeff and Diane Howson and fami- ly of Blyth, travelled to the Gravenhurst area where they spent the weekend at a Howson cottage. It is a lovely cottage with a beautiful view of Muskoka Lake. Most of the visitors went for an enjoyable boat ride on the lake. The weather was not the most cooperative as it was mainly dull. with intermittent showers. We also travelled to Huntsville where we stopped in at a Garden Centre there. It is owned and oper- ated by Tim Cantelon, formerly of the Brucefield area. The decorations and mums were also fantastic. His home, which is nearby, was filled with Christmas items. The fall colours up there are gor- geous with many reds and oranges, mixed in with the yellows. All in all it was an enjoyable weekend. Story Idea?
