Correspondence The Huron Expositor • September 20, 2006 Page 23 Trip to farmer's market rescheduled Queensway Nursing and Retirement Residence's vol- unteer auxiliary met Tuesday, Sept. 5 to- preview the September calendar and schedule their availability for various programs. At noon, the members of South Huron Ministerial held their luncheon meeting at Queensway. Pastor Elly Van Bergen, United Church Minister at the Varna and Goshen United Churches and pastoral care volunteer at Queensway briefly addressed the group as did Retirement Home Director Julie Grimminck. Pastor Elly Van Bergen led a meaningful memorial ser- vice for residents and family members Wednesday, Sept. (�D111'tktI., %:IN 111111:: and I I01111' 13 as we honoured the lives of residents who have passed away during the past three months. Bill Gibson was the volunteer organist for our service. Hensall Presbyterian women provided assistance and prizes at bingo Monday afternoon. They will be spon- soring the Monday afternoon bingos for the month of September. Residents also benefitted from massage with Lori Burt R.M.T., music therapy with Lisa Stewart, manicures, games, exercises, current events and one to one visits throughout the week.
