Contract No. 04017 includes approximately:
• 3200 m3 of earth excavation
• 2600 tonnes of Granular "A"
• 4700 tonnes of Granular "B"
• 525 tonnes of asphalt
• 1010 m of curb and gutter
• 214 lineal metres of various size storm sewer (300 mm dia. to 600 mm dia.)
• 767 Lineal metres of 525 mm dia. sanitary sewer
• 36 lineal metres of steel pipe encasement (jack and bore)
Contract No. 06011 includes approximately:
• 625 m3 of earth excavation
• 650 tonnes of Granular "A"
• •1225 tonnes of Granular "B"
• 205 tonnes of asphalt
• 92 lineal metres of 300mm dia. storm sewer
• 156 lineal metres of 200mm dia. sanitary sewer
as well as other work incidental thereto.
Plans, specifications and tender forms for both contracts may be obtained from
the office of the undersigned upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $30.00 for
Contract No. 04017 and $30.00 for Contract No. 06011. This includes all taxes.
A certified cheque in the amount of $50,000 must accompany Contract No.
04017 bid and a certified cheque in the amount of $10,000 must accompany
Contract No. 06011 bid.
Lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

PETHICK, Grace: Grace Pethick of McKillop
Township on Saturday, August 5, 2006, in her
78th year. Grace Roe, beloved wife of the late
George Pethick. Dear mother of Ken and Val of
Walton and Sharon and Steve Steinman of
Wyoming. Cherished grandmother of six
grandchildren, Rick, Andy, David, Eric, Spencer
and Hailey. Survived by two sisters Kathleen
Williamson of Walton and Laureen Hubert of
North Bay, a sister-in-law Annie Rapson of
Seaforth and several loving nieces and
nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Isabel
Pethick, a sister Marjorie Racho and her parents
Lorne and Anna (Nicholson) Roe. Friends called
at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, Seaforth on
Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm, where the funeral
service was held on Tuesday, August 8 at
2:OOpm. Rev. John Gould officiated. Interment
Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth. Pallbearers
were Rick Pethick, Andy Pethick, David Pethick,
Eric Steinman, Spencer Steinman and Bob
Brugger. Flower bearer was Hailey Steinman. A
reading was given by her granddaughter Hailey
Steinman and the eulogy was given by Steve
Steinman. Soloist was Graeme Craig and
organist was Cheryl Ann St. Onge. Memorial
donations to Cavan United Church, Winthrop,
Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation, Heart
& Stroke Foundation, Community Care Access
Centre or Breast Cancer Research appreciated.

ROGERSON, Kenneth: Peacefully at Clinton
Public Hospital on Thursday, August 10, 2006
Kenneth Lorne Rogerson of Clinton and formerly
of R.R. #5, Clinton in his 77th year. Ken was born
in Seaforth, Ontario on July 27, 1930, son of the
late William Walter and Isabel Susan (Reid)
Rogerson. Beloved husband and best friend of
Margaret (Stevens) Rogerson. Dear brother and
brother-in-law of Margaret and Glenn McClure of
R.R. 1, Seaforth; Helen and Gordon Betties of
Salmon Arm, B.C.; Joan and Gregory McDonald
of Ailsa Craig; Leona McDonald of Walton;
Murray and Betty Crich of Hanover and Robert
and Margaret Stevens of London. Also loved by
many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great
nephews. Predeceased by one sister-in-law
Doris Crich and by one brother-in-law Ken
McDonald. In the past Ken was very active in the
community. He sat on different committees of the
Ontario Street United Church and served on the
Hensall and District Co-op Board, the
Tuckersmith Community Co-op Ltd., and
presently was a member of the I.O.O.F.
Brucefield Lodge No. 210. He liked being with
people and enjoyed curling, square dancing,
playing cards and having coffee with his
"buddies" at Kate's Station Restaurant. Friends
were received at the Falconer Funeral Homes
Ltd. - Clinton Chapel, 153 High Street, Clinton on
Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral
service was held on Monday, August 14, 2006 at
11:00 a.m. with Pastor Julia Sinclair and
Reverend Bob Biggar officiating. Interment
Clinton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Cox, Bill
Gibson, Clayton Groves, Bob Lawson, Jack
McLachlan and Ross McBeath, Flower bearers
were Karen Colquhoun, Marie Leonhardt, Sandra
Welch, Barb Worden, Adrian Hoggarth and Chris
Hoggarth. George Turner, a • family friend was
soloist. Donations to the Clinton Public Hospital
Foundation, Clinton United Church or to the
charity of one's choice would be appreciated as
expressions of .sympathy. A memorial service
was held at the funeral home by the I.O.O.F.
