success in .several tournaments
On Tuesday in Exeter, Tom
Phillips and Carol Carter won
second prize with Jack and Marie
Miur winning third.
Wednesday at the new Grand
Cove greens in Grand Bend saw
Rick Wood, Dave Ducklow and Jean
Shillington win third prize and
Donna and Neil Beuerman and.
Keith Snell win fourth.
Thursday at Stratford's Canadian
Tire tournament Ryan and Carol
Carter won fourth.
Saturday at Mitchell mens' pairs,
followed by a barbecue, Fred Tilley
and Erich Matzold placed third with
the team of Dave Ducklow and Rick
Wood taking fourth.
Sunday at Exeter greens
sponsored by Huron Apothecary
saw their greens full and three
Seaforth teams in the prizes. Jack
Marie Miur were three; game
winners while Fred Tilley and Carol
Carter were fourth and Rick Wood
and Marian Smith won consolation.
Wednesday will be the Etue
Tournament at Seaforth greens at
10 a.m., mixed trebles. Friday night
will be a barbecue supper followed
by open singles at 7 p.m.
Next Tuesday evening, July 18, at
6 p.m. will be a pot luck supper with
bowling and cards after. Hostess
will be Lucy Jones and Edna
Waddington.

Sometime between July 7 and
July 10 crooks broke into a shed
of a residence on Brock Avenue in
Hensall.
The parties gained entry into ;
the shed and stole a riding
lawnmower valued at $1000.
