Qualifications
-Must be 15 to 19 years of age as of Labour Day Weekend
- Experience volunteering or working with seniors and/or
individuals with special needs
- Ability to work independently
- Music background an asset
- Good communication skills, outgoing, positive attitude,
creative and have the ability to follow instructions
Duties
- Th assist with the activation programs, porter residents,
and take residents outside for walks
- Provide 1:1 companionship for the residents which will
enhance the residents' quality of life
- Activation Student will have scheduled shifts during the
week and on the weekend
- Once school starts in the Fall, these positions will
continue for weekend coverage
Casual Dietary Students
Qualifications
- Must be 15 to 19 years of age as of Labour Day Weekend
- Current Safe Food Handling Certificate, experience in a
Long-Thrm Care setting, food services an asset.
- Effective communication skills and ability to relate to co
workers and seniors.
- Has an acceptable standard of appearance and behaviour.
Demonstrates maturity and tact.
- Ability to read and understand written and verbal
instructions for the operation of equipment and the ability
to absorb a suitable course of in-service training.
Duties
-11n perform food service related duties related to the
serving of food at the Huron County Homes.

Full-time Skilled Tradesperson'
This is a permanent full-time skilled tradesperson position to perform
maintenance in a safe and productive manner in school buildings as
directed by Facilities Administration.
Duties may include:
- preventative maintenance to all building mechanical systems,
heating ventiliation systems, repairs and upgrades;
- procuring required parts and inventory and cost control; and,
- assisting with plumbing repairs and upgrades.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- valid drivers license;
- provincial certificate of qualification as a Refrigeration and Alf
Conditioning Mechanic, as well ase Gas Fitter #2 license;
- 5 years experience in heating and ventilation systems, operation
and troubleshooting, and building operation control systems in
addition to apprenticeship work requirements; and,
- initiative and ability to work well independently as well as in a team
environment.
