New pastor
appointed
for two area
churches
Pastor Alan Dufraimont, Pastor
of St. Patrick's, Dublin and St.
Vincent de Paul, Mitchell, has
been appointed Pastor of the
parishes of Our Lady of La
Salette, La Salette and St. John
Brebeuf and Companions, Delhi,
effective June 30. We will greatly
miss Father Al who came here
from Woodstock and Princeton
one year ago and helped us in so
many ways and was one of our
"family"
Rev. Mark Poulin has been
appointed Pastor to replace
Dufraimont.
Heartfelt sympathy to Dee and
Kelly O'Leary, whose brother-in-
law, Jeff Rose died in a tragic
accident this past week. Our
heartfelt sympathy to Don and
Eileen MacRae, Jeff was their
grandson -in-law.
Thought for Today
"Did you hear about the rope
joke?"
"No, I didn't. What about it?"
"Aw, skip it."

Huron Strings entertain
congregation at Cavan
It was another
gorgeous day for
an outdoor church
service on Sunday
at the Winthrop ball diamond for
Cavan United Church.
The Huron Strings entertained
before and after the service. The
theme for Rev. John's sermon was
"The Risen and Exalted Christ."
Elaine Haney sang two solos
"Morning Has Broken" and "She
Flies On." Greeters and collectors
were Glen and Marg McClure.
After the service, a brunch was
served to a good number by the
board of stewards and helpers.
There will be no service at Cavan
and Northside until August 6.
Don and Maja
Dodds spent a few
days camping
near. Owen Sound.
While there they visited friends and -
relaxed.
Loretta Dolmage has returned
home after visiting family and
friends in
Newfoundland
and New
Brunswick.
