bigger, better
camp in the future

And, that brings us to this summer in Goderich,
where Watt, along with Graham Nesbitt, of Seaforth, is
running a camp geared towards players in the junior
and AAA levels.
"I just want to give kids that are really serious about
hockey that edge to help them progress," he says.
And, while Watt may not be able to hit the ice
competitively for at least six months, he still will be
able to get on the ice and help the kids.
Watt says he plans to further the camp in the coming
years and would like to bring a camp back to Seaforth.
"I always enjoyed helping out with Dave's camp," he
says, referring to the Dave McLlwain camp that stopped
running in Seaforth four years ago.
In the Suture, Watt says, ideally, he would like to
organize a six to eight-week camp for all ages.
As far as creating an annual camp, Watt says, "I live
in Grand Rapids, but Seaforth is where I grew up and
that is where I want to put the stakes in."
As for next season, Watt says his plans are still up in
the air.
"Right now I'm trying to find out what would be the
best thing to do," he says.
"Maybe I'lJ come back and play in Sweden, or Finland,
or maybe I'll take a year off. My main goal is just
getting my knee back to where it was."

2006 is shaping to be
another golden year for the
St. Anne's senior boys rugby
team.
The 24 -member squad
successfully defended last
year's Huron -Perth title on
Monday, claiming the top
spot heading into the
Western Ontario Secondary
School Athletic Association
(WOSSAA) championships
today (May 31).
"We are the defending
champions and we want to
defend our WOSSAA title,"
said coach Glen Ditner.
Ranked number one — with
a 4-0 season record — the
Eagles "handily" beat fourth
place South Huron in the

local team then moved on to
face F.E. Madill, of Wingham,

in the finals. St. Anne's beat
the Wingham squad 12-5.
On Wednesday the team is
travelling to Aylmer to
