swimming skill for all children.
The standard is simple, straightforward and focused. It defines the essential
minimum skills required to survive an unexpected fall into deep water.

track meet

Overall winners at the Seaforth Public School track
meet held last Thursday include Brandon Sallows, who
came first in the senior boys' events, Rachel Robinet,
who came first in senior girls, Jordan Currie, first in
intermediate boys, Katie Arts and Andrea Rowntree,
tied for first in intermediate girls, Riley Ward, first in
junior boys, Brianne Higenell, first in junior girls,
William Ringgenberg, first in midget boys and Tabitha
Arts, first in midget girls.
The top two of each event will go on to the district
competition, which will be held in Seaforth on June 7.
In -senior boys, Brandon Sallows came first in the 100 -
metre dash, the 200 -metre run, the 400 -metre run and
long jump and came second in the 800 -metre run and
shotput.
Jon Shepherd came first in senior boys' 800 metre run
and second in the 400 -metre run.
Conlan Melady came , second in the senior boys100
metre run and second in triple jump.
Gavin Bowers came first in the. senior boys' triple
jump and second in the 200 -metre run and high jump.
Luke Becker came first in senior boys' shotput.
David Bolton came second in senior boys' long jump.
Matt Selvey came first in senior boys' high jump and
second in softball throw.
Jesse Glew,came first in senior boys' softball throw.
Emily Lansink came first in senior girls' 100 -metre,
200 -metre and 800 -metre and second in 400 -metre.
