Ten St. Anne's and two Central Huron secondary school athletes will 'be heading to Kitchener May 26-27 for the Ontario Federation of Schools Athletic Association (OFSAA) regionals after successful showings at last week's Western Ontario Secondary School Athletic Association (WOSSAA) meet. The WOSSAA results were as follows: St. Anne's Brittany Bos (midget) — fourth in 400 -metre run, fifth in 200 -metre run and fifth in 300 -metre hurdles Jory Uyl (midget) — third in 300 - metre hurdles, fourth in triple jump and fifth in 80 -metre hurdles Matt Boven (midget) — first in 300 - metre hurdles, first in 800 -metre run and fifth in 400 -metre run Phil Schraeder (midget) — second in 100 -metre hurdles Tom Lecomte (junior) — second in 100 -metre hurdles Alex Choi (junior) — fourth in 100 - metre hurdles Julia Tousaw (senior) — first in 400 - metre hurdles, first in 400 metre run Jed McCue (senior) — fifth in 110 - metre hurdles Nick McGilvery — second in 100 - metre ambulatory Scot Ferguson — fifth in 100 -metre ambulatory CHSS Erik Hausen (midget) — third in 300 -metre hurdles Drew Taylor (junior) — fifth in 100 - metre run and fifth in 300 -metre hurdles "We did have some sixth place finishers, ju.t a few milliseconds shy of making it. Everyone did really well," CHSS coach Krista Parsons added. St. Anne's will also be sending its midget girls' 4x100 -metre relay team. Dean Reynolds, Graham Sibberry-Saunders and Jenna Van Osch are going as alternates in their events. The top four finishers at the regionals will earn a spot at OFSAA in Etobicoke June 1-3.
