MORCHAIN
A Graveside Service for Janet Brett Kerr Morchain
of Ottawa who passed away December 12, 2005,
daughter of the late Wilfred Brenton Kerr, native of
McKillop Township and the late Ada Sarah
Melvina Brett, native of Rosemont, Ontario will be
held Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 4 p.m. at
Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth. The service will
be officiated by Rev. Darrell Wright. Janet
Morchain is survived by her partner Michael Wall
and his daughter Imogen, her sister Catherine
Thompson and nephews Michael and Gabriel
Thompson. She is predeceased by her brother
James Alan Madill Kerr. 42-19-1

MACLEAN
Peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital on
Friday, May 5, 2006, the last member of a proud
Scottish family that settled in Seaforth in mid
1920's from the Isle of Lewis. Donald MacLean of
Egmondville, in his 83rd year. Dear friend of
Linda Wilson. Remembered by his sister-in-law
Betty MacLean of Egmondville and nieces and
nephews. Predeceased by his wife Agnes
(O'Sullivan) MacLean, his parents Roderick and
Mary Ann (Morrison) MacLean, his sister Kate
Phillips and her husbanc Tony, and brothers
Roderick and his wife Hattie MacLean, Norman,
John and Ken MacLean. Donald was a member
of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 156
Seaforth, served overseas on the Canadian High
Seas from March 13, 1945 to September
24,1945. At his request there will be no funeral
home visitation or service. Interment
Maitlandbank Cemetery. Memorial donations to a
charity of one's choice appreciated.

Jeff and Janice are excited to annouce the arrival
of Campbell Meredith. Campbell was born April
8th, 2006 at 9:11 pm. She weighed 6lbs 12oz. and
was 19" long. Excited are first time grandparents

and Berneice Hutchison of Mitchell, and Aunt
Jenny Ryan of Kitchener. A big thank you to Drs.
Diotallevi, Hancock, and Hillyer and the nursing

LANE
Sincere thanks to Doctors Rooyakkers and
Shepherd, the ER and ward nurses and many
staff for the excellent care I received at the
Seaforth Hospital throughout my unexpected stay.
Thank you to family and friends for your calls,
flowers and concern upon my return home. I
appreciate everyone's thoughtfulness. 47-19-1

"WOW" what a great bunch of friends you are.
The many phonecalls, visits, plants, flowers and
cards were really appreciated. Also a very special
"Thank You" to my sister Trish for all the love and
care. To the girls who transported me around
thank you. The care at both Owen Sound and
Seaforth Hospital was excellent. You the the Best!

SCOTT
The family of the late Barbara Scott would like to
extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who sent
cards and visited our mother during her hospital
stay. We especially thank Dr. Rooyakkers and all
the nurses of Seaforth Hospital for their excellent
care and compassion. Since her passing, many
neighbours and friends, old and new, helped us in
many ways from bringing food and giving hugs to
cutting the lawn. Thank you. To Rev. Sue Malpus
and Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, our thanks for
guiding us through this difficult time and thank you
to both Legion Br. 156 and the Ladies Auxiliary for
the Legion Funeral Service and the delicious
lunch after the funeral. Our mother was proud to
call Seafoth her home and we appreciate all that

MCGAVIN
We would like to thank Drs. Percival, Gonser and
Bakala and the nurses at both Seaforth and
Stratford Hospitals for their care and concern of
Tyson before, during and after his surgery. Their
kindness and expert care went a long way
towards his recovery. As always when we need
them, our family, friends, neighbours and
community are awesome. Thanks so much to
them for visits, phonecalls, gifts, cards and treats
and for driving Brandon and Abby around as well.
