begin the month. It was a great
afternoon listening to the old tyme
tunes.
• Other musical afternoons were
held with Carol Carter, Marjory
Papple and with Art and Eleanor
Horst.
Church services for the month
were held with Bethel Bible Church,
Rev. Wilson and Rev. Gould. A com-

unteers. We were not sure if it was
skill or just plain luck.
Residents prepared for Easter
with their Grade 5 buddies from St.
James School. Fancy Easter eggs
were made and put on display.
During crafts, Easter bonnets
were decorated just in time to
attend the Easter Bonnet Tea held
at the Seaforth Bakery.
Everyone came home with prizes
while Alice Read was particularly
proud of the "Miss Congeniality"
prize. It was a great afternoon and
everyone enjoyed the goodies and
entertainment.
Residents woke up to find that the
Easter bunny had paid a visit to
them on Easter morning. At noon
they enjoyed *a special Easter din-
ner.
Margaret Whitmore and Lois
Hodgert were kept busy as they
trimmed and painted nails on mani-
cure day. The special hand treat-
ments were also enjoyed.
Bingo with Betty Hulley was very
popular with Elgin Nott, Pat
O'Reilly, Ida McLlwain and Alice
Read winning the jackpots.
Residents and staff were deeply
saddened by the loss of a dear vol-
unteer, Barbara Scott. She was a
valuable helper with crafts during
the past 15 years. We will always
remember her enthusiasm and
laughter and she will be truly
missed.
