The Hensall and Community
Horticultural Society will hold their
next meeting on April 10 at 7:30
p.m. at Hensall United Church.
This will be Membership Night
and members are reminded that the
fee has been raised to $8.
Correspondence
at next Horticultural Society meeting
Benefits of membership include dis-
counts at many area greenhouses
and the opportunity to attend infor-
mative meetings throughout the
year.
The speaker forthe evening will
be Brenda Campbell of Cozyn's
Garden Centre in Stratford who will
conduct a demonstration of contain-
er gardening.
At the Hensall United Church ser-
vice, Alun Thomas' message was
"The Passion of Christ."
The organist was Chuck Mallette.
Betty Simmons was the greeter.
Donna Hamather looked after the
nursery. The ushers were Pat
O'Brien and Cecil Pepper.
At Carmel Presbyterian Church
Trish MacGregor was the guest
minister.
Joyce Pepper looked after the
ministry of song. The offering was
received by Harry Smith and Robert
Bell.

Diners treated to special dessert
The diners warmly cele-
brated St. Patrick's Day
early at the Seaforth Seniors
Dining Out program at the
'Seaforth arena on March 16
at noon.
The diners were treated to
roast beef with gravy, mashed
potatoes, homemade cabbage
salad, squash i and a special
St. Pat's dessert.
Music was provided by
Grant Ellison from Goderich
were Zelda Bannerman,
Gloria Mansdish, . Ken
Preszcator and Rosa
VanBergen.
Our next Seaforth and Area
Dining Out program will be
on Thursday, April 27 at noon
featuring ham and scalloped
potatoes. Entertainment will
be Judy McDougall, Yoga and
Laugh Therapist. Cost is $8:
