"We were fortunate we took less penalties," said coach John Taylor, adding Seaforth was tied with Minto in record and period points otherwise. "We would have had to play another game otherwise. They've never had to go that far in tie -breakers before," said Taylor. Seaforth won against Minto 2-1 last Tuesday, a game Seaforth had to win to be in the running for the champi- onship. Taylor said the Atom 2 team had a great season, bringing home "the hardware" from every tournament they played this year. The Seaforth Midget 2 team came second in the WOAA Maroon division after playing two final games last week against Walkerton and Lucknow. Seaforth lost 5-0 against Walkerton on Monday and won 9-5 against Lucknow on Thursday. Scoreboard SHUFFLEBOARD March 22 Men's high: Ken Lingelbach 4 wins. Ladies' high: Joyce Pepper 5 wins.
