Seaforth Lions had
a very successful
auction held on
Saturday, March 25.
After successful planning and a
great 'deal of work, everyone was
quite satisfied at the success.

Steckle visits with residents
Fun and Fitness
at Queensway
Retirement
Residence and
Nursing Home had
everyone off to a good start Monday
morning when residents met in the
sunroom for their workout that
stimulates body and mind. The
range of motion exercises are geared
to maintain or improve joint mobili-
ty and the games called "Mental
Aerobics" help us all to work at
developing a more agile brain. . -
In the afternoon, bingo was spon-
sored by the Hensall Legion who
provided prizes and assistance for
residents. Lori Burt, registered mas-
sage therapist provided her service
to several residents , throughout the
, day.
Rue Brenner of Faith Tabernacle
in Centralia . led worship Tuesday
afternoon for residents. She shared
her personal faith journey with resi-
dents and spent time following the
service with those wishing to speak
with her.
Wednesday afternoon volunteer
Marg Cole organized
a group of euchre
enthusiasts for an
enjoyable afternoon
of their favourite
game.
March birthdays were celebrated
on Thursday following the Seniors
Dining program. Marie Flynn and
The Huron Strings provided the
musical entertainment that drew a
good crowd to the dance floor
throughout the evening.

Klopp, Marjorie. Carey, Maria
Roobal, Beth Rnox, Winnifred
Homuth, Adelaide Young and Bill
Osmond Sr. Greetings were given to
birthday celebrants that are now in
the retirement residences "Over 90"
Club.
Retirement residents welcomed a
special visitor Friday afternoon
when Paul Steckle M.P.. spent time
speaking with them in their lounge
over coffee and refreshments.
The visit was precipitated by a
request made during the resident's
monthly operations group meeting.
Legion hostscribbage tournament
_ The Seaforth Legion
hosted the provincial
cribbage tournament
on March 11 and 52
teams turned out.
Grand Bend team got first.
Orleans team came second and
