Thursday,
a van full of residents enjoyed a sunny
drive to Goderich for a shopping trip.
Fresh donuts were brought back from
Culbert's bakery for the evening snack.
Tuesday afternoon, Pastor Elly Van
Bergen of Varna and Goshen United
Churches led worship with Bill Gibson as
pianist. In the evening, the Christian
Reform Singers provided a gospel music
program
and visit-

residents

program.

morning after a brief hiatus. Social
Worker Shirley Hall facilitated the
group. Family and friends of .resi-

Gladys and Her Merrymakers gave a
rollicking St. Patrick's Day performance
Friday afternoon for ; the St. Patrick's
party. Band member Devon Martene, a
young violinist, was especially a hit with
everyone.
Residents' baking group made green
shortbread cookies for the occasion which
were served along with kiwi juice.
In the evening, Harvey and Friends
made music in the retirement residence
lounge for the twice monthly Friendship
Friday program.
Sunday afternoon everyone was pleased
to have family and friends join us for an
afternoon of gospel music with Bob
Heywood. Hearing all the old beautiful
hymns along with a few recitations from
Bob was a won -
