A wedding like no other.
By Jennifer Hubbard
Camera in hand, Heather Stewart, (formerly
Campbell) has attended many weddings, capturing
images of a couple's special day as a wedding photog-
rapher.
But, when it came to planning her own wedding to
fiance Tyler she was determined do something differ-
ent.
And with a winter garden themed New Year's Eve
wedding, that's exactly what she did.
"It started off with different family members sug-
gesting New Year's so they'd have something to do
and because it fell on a Saturday this year," Heather
explained.
"As a photographer my summer was already
booked up, so the timing
really was perfect."
Heather is the daughter
of Gord and Sharon, of
Belgrave, and Tyler is the
son of Don and Linda, of
Blyth.
With the help of
Tyler's aunt - interior
designer Virginia
Warwick, of Exeter - the
upper level of the Blyth
Community Centre was
transformed into a win-
ter garden on Dec. 31,
2005.
"I didn't want to have
it related to Christmas, so
Virginia suggested the
winter garden theme. We
had at total of 60 trees,"
Stewart recalled.
"I wanted the hall to
look completely different,
like no one had ever seen
it before."
