Lloyd Eisler featured in Skating with Celebrities
Seaforth's Lloyd Eisler is starring
in a new reality show on Fox TV
called Skating with Celebrities,
which airs for the first time tonight
(Wednesday, Jan. 18).
"With Skating with Celebrities,
you'll not only get to see seasoned
professionals and hard-working
celebritites, you'll get "to pick your
favorite teams, rack up points and
have fun doing it! Which celebrities
will remain vertical and which will
hit the ice?" says Fox TV's website.
Eisler will be teamed up with
actress Kristy Swanson, who was
the original "Buffy" in the. movie
Schwalm
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and fea-
tured opposite Adam Sandler in the
comedy "Big Daddy."
The two are one of six teams pair-
ing famous personalities with pro-
fessional figure skaters to compete
for a figure skating title. -
Hosted by Olympic gold medalist
and world champion Scott
Hamilton, the show features partici-
pants that have collectively won 40
World Championship medals and 11
Olympic medals.
"Each episode will test the pairs'
skills as the degree of difficulty
increases and they demonstrate
whether they can successfully pull
off original and challenging skating
sequences — or freeze under pres-
sure," says the website.
Other teams include
• Actor/comedian Dave Coulier
("Full House") with two-time
Olympic figure skating medalist
Nancy Kerrigan
• Olympic decathlon gold medalist
and television personality Bruce
Jenner with world champion pairs
figure skater Tai Babilonia
• Actor Todd Bridges ("Diff'rent
Strokes") with three -time U.S.
national pairs figure skating cham-

Zimmerman.
