With the loss of three members of
its management team and two more
retirements in administration
expected in the coming year, Huron -
Perth Healthcare Alliance is facing
another recruitment challenge.
Alliance CEO Andrew Williams
told his board of directors last
Thursday that Cheryl Yost, director
of training and development is tak-
ing another job as CNE of the
Manitoulin Health Centre in Little
Current while Ruth Beckman, pro-
gram director for mental health and
Wayne Hollohan, director of materi-
al management, are retiring.
"We speak frequently of the
recruitment and retention chal-
lenges facing the healthcare system,
yet rarely focus these discussions at
the managerial level," said his
report. "In total, these three indi-
viduals will be removing 84 years of
experience from the Alliance, some-
thing that is extremely difficult to

development programs to be able to
fill administrative positions from
within.

your polling station on election day, January 23, and present,
an official document that Includes your name, address and
signature. If you do not have such a document, you will be
given the opportunity to swear that you are eligible to vote
at the polling station you are in, as long as you are
accompanied by a voter registered in the same polling
division who can vouch for your identity.
