Residents treated
to Victorian Tea
After decorating for the Christmas
season residents were ready to welcome
the many visitors to Maplewood Manor.
Family and friends gathered in the
dining room to enjoy the goodies and
conversation at our Christmas tea.
The Christmas spirit was kept well
and alive with the many entertainers
that visited. They .included the
Harmony Hi-Lites, St. James Choir,
Harmopy Kings, Salvation Army, Art
and Eleanor Horst, Carol Carter and
Bill Gibson.
The St. James Grade 5 class also vis-
ited where residents shared their stories
of Christmas when they were children.
Residents enjoyed receiving the.
Christmas cards that the children had
made.
Residents were treated extra special
as they enjoyed a Victorian Tea with
Peggoty's. The afternoon was wonder-
ful with excellent food and company.
Hats, horns, laughter, games and
good food were all part of the festivities
to welcome the New Year and to reflect
on all the wonderful things that so many
people do for us.
