Beloved mother of Stephen Rice and Deborah Sidenberg, Toronto, Susan and Daniel Smith, Sarnia, and Brad and Lorrain Rice, London. Cherished grandmother of Pamela and James Smith, Michael, Andrew and Kelsie Rice. Survived by sisters- in-law Lois Hodgert, Marilyn Hodgert, and Mae Hodgert. Predeceased by her husband Harold Rice (1974), brothers Russell, Roy, Bruce, Neil and Bill,. and her parents Thomas and Lillian (Wood) Hodgert. Friends were received at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 29 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Staffa Cemetery.
