If you're expecting a special delivery on or around the first of the year, this
is the contest for you, because the first baby born in the new year, wins all
the great prizes from the merchants on this page.
RULES:
1. Winning baby's parents must be residents of Huron East or the Huron Expositor Coverage Area.
2. If the baby is born at home, the exact time of birth must be specified by the attending physician. If the
baby is born in a hospital, the hospital must make similar certification.
3. The first baby will be defined as "the first baby born after midnight, December 31, 2005."
4. Notification of births must be made to this newspaper's offices to be eligible. In the event of a tie, gifts
will be distributed at the discretion of this paper and the participating businesses.
5. Winning parents agree to publication of baby's photo, weight and date of birth in this paper.
6. Winners we only eligible to win one New Year's Baby Award
from one SSP newspaper.
