The Meaning of Christmas
Take a minute and say Happy Birthday to Jesus
The meaning of
Christmas isn't about get-
ting a lot of presents for
Christmas and being mad
about what you got.
The meaning of
Christmas is celebrating
the birth of Christ. It also
means that we should stop
and say a prayer to Jesus.
On Christmas day we
should say Happy
Birthday to Jesus.
We could be caring by
helping an elderly neigh-
bour shovel out their lane
way. It would be a great
present from you to them.
Last year and this year
we have did a program
called "Operation
Christmas Child." What
you do is get a shoe box
and fill it with little things
from the dollar store. The
people that can't afford
very many things will
receive a great present.
Have a great Christmas.

The meaning of
Christmas isn't about get-
ting that new video now or
a cool thing you saw on
the T.V. last night.
The real meaning of
Christmas is the birth of
Jesus. Everyone every
now and then gets really
excited about the presents
and Santa coming to their
house on Christmas Eve
night. I even sometimes
gef overly excited about
waking up on Christmas
Day and finding presents
under the tree.
When I get overly excit-
ed I look at a candy cane
and put it upside down and
it looks like a J, a J for
Jesus.
Take the time to say a
prayer on Jesus' birthday
(Christmas Day).

Christmas isn't about
getting presents it's about
giving presents and about
the birth of Christ and get-
ting with your family. But
you should take a minute
to pray and say happy
birthday to Jesus and think
...and a heap of thanks for your patronage this past year.
Merry Christmas!

Ah Christmas, my
favourite time of the year.
I love Christmas because I
like to open the presents
real early in the morning
and I like to put up the
Christmas tree, and put all
the ornaments on. I like
looking at the Christmas
tree in the dark when the
Christmas lights are on. I
especially like to listen to
Christmas music.
But at this time of we
should be thinking of oth-
ers too.
We could pray every
once in a while, go to
church, sing happy birth-
day to the lord. We can be
kind to one another. We
could do nice deeds when
you not asked to like if
your neighbour has a
snowy or icy drive or side-
walk you could shovel it
no matter how old or
young they are.
We should give thanks
to the Lord for what all
Christ has done.

The meaning of
Christmas is NOT about
gifts decorations, etc.
Christmas is about the
birth of Christ our Saviour.
Presents only come once a
year, each day. I'm not
saying don't ask for pre-
sents. Of course, it's fun
getting presents, but just
keep in mind what the real
meaning of Christmas is.
Presents are just mere toys
that break easily. Christ
gave his life, that's special.
It's more than plastic
action figures. It's a life
which I have and everyone
has. He went through so
much.
He gave a life like mine
and yours. That's more
than gifts. Have fun of
course and be with your
family just keep in mind
the real meaning of
Christmas is...

Christmas is not all about
presents or getting stuff. It
is about the birth of Jesus
and caring for others.
Don't get too greedy and
ask for a lot like a I Pod
and a X Box 360. You
should ask for little stuff
like a CD or a goalie hel-
met for road hockey or
even that everyone, mainly
the poor people, get a gift
or some food to eat for
Christmas.
At Christmas you
should think about others,
like the older people. If
you have a neighbour that
is older and might not be
able to shovel their drive-
way maybe you could do
it for them. But NOT for
any money just so they
don't have to go outside
and shovel because they
might hurt their back or
something.
On Christmas you
should go to church and
pray. You should be thank-
ful for what you have,
like a family. Some people
that live on the street don't
have a family you should
think about them, not just
yourself. Remember that
Jesus gave up his life for
us.
That is what I think
Christmas is really about.
