Bad weather leads to cancellation
of birthday party and senior dinner
Life at Queensway Nursing
Home in Hensall continues to be
busy through a variety of daily
programs.
The last two Mondays, the
Bethel Reformed Ladies assisted
with bingo while on Tuesdays
church services were led by Pastor
Rod Chalk and Rev. Harry
Frielink.
Wednesday euchre games
always draw a good crowd.

dents.
Fred -James and Ken Wilson
provided music for Friendship
Friday.
Unfortunately, due to inclement
weather; the November birthday
party and senior diners scheduled
for Nov. 24 had to be cancelled.
The week ended with a Sunday
afternoon tea party for nursing
home residents.
Tuesday morning breakfast
groups are always eagerly antici-
pated. The residents were able to
voice their compliments and con-
cerns at both Food Committee and
Residents' Council.
Exercises three times weekly,
restorative care all week, music
therapy, manicures and baking
provide something of interest for
everyone.
Trees are being decorated indi-
cating Christmas is on its way.

On Sunday, Dec. 4 following
the 11 a.m. Mass, at St. Patrick's,
Dublin, there will be an annual
bake sale and coffee hour in the

Please bring two baked items

start preparing for Christmas.
An Ecumenical Advent Service
was held on Nov. 27 at the United
Church, Mitchell. Father Alan and
the St. Vincent de Paul choir par-
ticipated in music and scripture
readings.

turned out to view the vari-
