You don't have to be serving in the Canadian Forces or be affiliated with someone who has served in the Canadian Forces to be eligible. You do need to be a Canadian citizen and of legal voting age. At one time, the Legion existed solely to help Canadian veterans and to perpetuate the memory of those who died in battle. Although these remain our primary concerns, communi- COMM ty service as well as programs for youth and seniors are also a vital part of the Legion's mission today. If interested, contact the Legion—(527-0740) or Lin Steffler, membership chair, (527-2389) for details. The cribbage league started Nov. 14 and men's euchre begins Nov. 16. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.
