The sermon topic was "Remembering." Greeters and collectors were Susan and Larry Wheatley. We welcome back Rev. John. Remembrance Day is on Friday with the service at the cenotaph at 10:30 a.m. In case of inclement weather it will be held at the Legion. Don't forget to observe this day in remembrance of all those who gave their lives and those who returned so we can enjoy the free- dom we have today. Sunday was a very breezy day with many tree branches falling. One good thing for me is the leaves I raked and hadn't dis- posed of are now gone somewhere else where they won't harm the lawn. It also put the hydro out in sev- eral places for about four hours. At times like these we realize how much we depend on electricity.
