The service was con- ducted by Legion Padre Tracy Whitson-Bahro. After the church service a memorial service was held ST. RCMP Chief Superintendant David Beer will be the guest speaker. Remembrance Day ser- vice was conducted at Carmel Presbyterian Church with Tracy Whitson-Bahro conducting the service. Dorothy Taylor and Joyce Pepper supplied the music for the ministry of song. Tracy's message was "Memories Through Silence" and she shared memories of talks she had with an ex -sailor about his service days. Members of Legion Branch 468 and the Scouting Movement were special guests at the ser- vice. Following the church service, wreaths were placed at the cenotaph. Come out and enjoy our November meal at the Hensall Drop -In on Nov. 17 at the Hensall United Church. Following lunch, we will be hearing from the Romijn Family, which sings, dances, and plays fiddles. An open house was held over the weekend at Pine Sampler Furniture, a new business in Hensall. An employee reported to police SEAFORTH CITIZENSHIP AWARDS 2005 THE SEAFORTH RECREATION AND PARKS COMMITTEE IS NOW ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR THE CITIZENSHIP AWARDS IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES: SERVICE TO SPORTS: A person that volunteers his or her time to sports organizations, or sports in general in Seaforth. CIVIC SERVICE: A person that belongs to a service club or community organization in which he or she contributes many hours of time for the betterment of the community. HUMANITARIAN SERVICE: A person who is considerate of other peo- ple, and is willing to give his or her time to help others when needed. These awards are chosen based on the individual's contribution to the community in a VOLUNTEER CAPACITY. To submit nominations, write the name of the person you are nominating, which category you want them in, background information on this person and why you feel he or she should win.
