Cards at St. Patrick's will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 1:30-4 p.m. in the church basement. No cards on Nov. 9 but they will resume on Nov. 16 and continue every Wednesday thereafter. A special 80th birthday party was held for Jean Ryan at the home of her daughter and son-in- law, Marg and Richard Templeman, of RR 2, Staffa, on Oct. 15. An enjoyable day was cele- brated by her family, rela- tives, neighbours and friends.
