By Susan Hundertmark
Expositor Editor
Seaforth bowlers came
home Sunday with a silver
medal in the provincial
novice championships held in
Hanover over the weekend.
Rick Wood and Keith Snell,
both of Seaforth and Brad
Claus, of Exeter, competed
for the second year in the
novice provincials, held for
bowlers with five years or
less experience lawn bowling.
"Last year was the first
year we entered and we only
made it to the first day last
year," says Wood. "We're
really excited to win the
silver this year."
Wood has three years'
experience lawn bowling
while Claus has four and
Snell has five.
"We'll have to pick another
novice (to replace Snell) from
Seaforth next year when we
go back," says Wood.
