BURNS: In loving memory of
Joseph' Burns, four years ago on
the 15th of July was when we said
our last goodbye,
Many a heartache we have gone
through,
Since that sad day when we lost
you.
In Heaven you have made your
home,
When you will never more roam.
God Bless. - Love Evangeline,

MCGRATH: In loving memory of a
dear and special Mother and
Grandmother, Ruth who was called
home 5 years ago, July 14, 2000.
You are where we cannot hug you,
Your voice we cannot hear,
We know you walk beside us,
Never absent, always near,
We feel your warmth around us.
We miss your homemade bread
and the stew on a cold winter's day.
All the preserves, cookies, pies and
cakes,
No one could make them better
than you could.
We miss the knitted socks and mit-
tens you made for us.
You taught us how to stretch a dol-
lar, make something from nothing
and how to be happy with what we
have.
Mom, you were a very special per-
son,
We never thought the day would
come,
That you would go away.
We never thought death was so
near,
You didn't have time to say farewell,
You were gone so suddenly,
Only God knows why.
We hold you tightly in our hearts,
And there you will remain,
Remembering you is easy,
We do it everyday.
- Lovingly remembered and sadly
missed by your children, Barbara,
Cheryl, Sandy and Paul, Donna and

grandchildren Mike, Nick, Tommy

TRAVISS/MOFFETT
How do we begin to thank you for all
the kindnesses extended towards
our family after the death of our
dear husband, father and grandfa-
ther, Herb Traviss...for surprises
found in refrigerators; for all the
cakes, muffins, fruit and vegetable
trays; for all the donations to the
Seaforth Hospital, Northside United
Church and many others; and for
the countless number of people
who were 'just a phone call away'.
The loving care and support of
friends, neighbours and family will
always be cherished and remem-
bered. Special thanks must go out
to both the Seaforth and Brussels
Legions. Herb was very proud of his
affiliation with this group of men and
women, and would have been
thrilled of your tribute to him at his
passing. To Northside Church, your
luncheon was nothing short of won-
derful, and of course to Ross and
Ruth, your understanding of our
family needs will always be remem-
bered. Thank you, one and all.
