Public's
help
sought
by police
to find
missing
Brussels
'man
Huron OPP are asking
for the public's help in
locating Brian Kamrath, a
36 -year-old Brussels man
who has been missing since
late afternoon on Friday,
May 20.
Police found the man's '
abandoned car, a black
Saab two -door convertible
on Highway 21 on Sunday,
May 22, a few minutes
south of Bayfield.
Kamrath, who is 6'1"
with green eyes and a
muscular build, weighing
close to 200 pounds and
having a shaven head, was
last seen wearing work
clothes.
Police say the man was
acting in a depressed state
of mind over personal
issues,

with his closest friends and
ex-girlfriend and no one
has seen him.
Canine and Emergency
Response Team members
searched the area around
the location of the car.
Later they were assisted by
a helicopter from the air,
and officers went door to
door from Bayfield to St.
Joseph's into all the cottage
subdivisions looking for the
missing man with no sign
of him being found.
Because the vehicle
found on the side of the
highway had mechanical
problems, the man may
have been looking for a
ride to get assistance.
If you saw someone
walking 'on the highway
last Friday or if you
stopped to offer assistance,
police are asking you to
call the Huron OPP or
Crime Stoppers.
$1,500 in property
stolen from McKillop
residence
A total of $1,500 was
stolen from a safe in a
McKillop residence during
a break-in on May 19,
reports the Huron OPP.
The vacant home on
Walton Road was entered
during the night and
various documents,
personal papers, jewelry
and cash were stolen.
Credit cards, $600 in
Canadian currency, $300 in
American currency and a
Bulova watch were also
stolen.

information is asked to call
the Huron OPP or Crime
Stoppers at 1-800-222-
8477.
