I did not see you close your eyes, Or hear your last faint sigh, I only heard that you were gone, Too late to say goodbye. Many the thoughts I have of you, As the weeks and months go by, Thinking of the things we used to do, Just you and I. Sometimes they make me smile, Sometimes they make me cry, But are precious to me alone, Memories of you and I. - June 46-13x1cc MCKELLAR/SOMERVILLE: In lov- ing memory of our sister Elaine who passed away 2 years ago today, March 30, 2003. You suffered much in silence, Your spirit did not bend, You faced your path with courage, until the very end. In tears we watched you sinking, We watched you fade away, Our hearts broken, you fought so hard to stay. - We miss you, you are never for- gotten. Love you, your family 46- 1 3 x 1 c c 4 7. Cards of Thanks ASH We cannot express enough thanks to all who have assisted our family since the loss of Thomas. We have been overwhelmed by the generos- ity and the caring approach of the people in our community and at our workplaces. In particular, we wish to thank some people for their very special support. The police, fire and paramedic personnel worked in ter- rible conditions that fateful evening to assist everyone involved in the accident - thank you for your knowl- edge, skill and dedication. The hos- pital staff and victim support servic- es staff were there to help our fami- ly through a very difficult time - thank you for your compassion and patience. Ross Ribey treated our family with care, compassion and professionalism - many thanks to you, your family and your staff. Rev. Henry Huberts and Rev. John Gould provided spiritual support and a wonderful tribute to Thomas at the funeral - God bless you both for the comfort that you have given. Tory Scott sang beautifully - your strength and the beauty of your voice will never be forgotten. Peter Raithby captured Thomas's short life in a truly inspired eulogy - thank you to Peter and Lil for being the sort of friends that are always there when you need them. Thank you to the members of the Northside Pastoral Charge who worked so hard to feed and comfort those who came to the visitation and funeral. The donation of food items from so many people was truly appreciated by all of our family members. A spe- cial thanks goes out to Marion Hunt and Audrey and Jack McLlwain for giving up their homes to provide accommodation for our family mem- bers. The visits and cards from friends, family and neighbours have been heartwarming and comforting during this trying time - thank you to everyone who has called, written or dropped by. We have been so fortu- nate to have the support of every- one at Tim Hortons and the Avon Maitland District School Board - thank you for the kind words and for handling the work so that we didn't have that worry. And to those who have contributed to the bursary that was established in Thomas' name - thank you for helping his memory live on in such a meaningful way. To everyone who has assisted us in dealing with this tragedy, thank you and may God grant you peace, understanding and strength as you deal with your grief. - Michael, Lesley and Andrew Ash 47-13-1 FORSYTH/DALTON We would like to thank everyone for coming out to our buck and doe and making it a night to remember.
