Jack will be sadly missed by his grandchil- dren Sarah, Shannon, Karen, Andrew, Amanda, Chris, Jennifer, Jessica and Derek, and by his great-grandchildren, Ashlie, Sabrina, Luke and Zachary. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Catherine (McBurney) Nicholson, and by brothers Murray and Harold. Survived by his broth- ers Alan (Helen) Nicholson, Ross (Lillian) Nicholson and sister Barbara (Gord) Alexander, all of Egmondville. Jack retired after many years with Dover Flour Mills in Cambridge. He was a member of St. Clement's R.C. Church and the Preston Knights of Columbus, Council 4916 in Cambridge, and a dedicated member of the Cardiac Fitness Association in Breslau. Jack will be fondly remembered for his kind and caring nature, by the many whose lives he touched. A champi- onship hockey player in Seaforth, his passion for the game continued in games played by his sons and grandsons. He had a similar pas- sion later in life for golf. His prowess in the vegetable garden will be sorely missed, as will his booming voice, his infectious laughter and hearty handshake.
