Fun and fitness start off week as
residents participate in workout
Queensway
Fun and Fitness
started the week off at
Queensway Nursing
and Retirement Home
in Hensall Monday
morning with a good
"range of motion"
workout to get all the
joints moving. The
goal is to maintain
and where possible,
increase flexibility.
The Auxiliary
meeting was held
Tuesday morning with
volunteers present to
discuss upcoming
February events and
also who is able to
assist and when.

worship Tuesday
afternoon with Belva
Fuss as volunteer
organist. Residents
voiced appreciation
for Rev. Alcock's
message and Belva's
beautiful organ
playing.

also enjoyed playing
crokinole.

afternoon, Julie
Keagan, social worker
facilitated the
monthly family
council meeting.

Chinchilla club reviews
maintenance guidelines
On Feb. 5,
the 4-H
Chinchilla
Club' held
its third meeting.
President Tanner
Merner started the
meeting with the 4-H
pledge. Roll call was to
state something that we
did on a daily basis with
our chinchillas.
Answers included:
giving them a dust bath,
providing fresh water
and food, and making
sure they have a wooden
I-II Chinchilla ('I til,
block to
chew on.
Leader
Ray reviewed the
maintenance guideline
of chinchilla care. Then
he brought in two older
chinchillas to show us
what would happen to
their teeth if a
chinchilla didn't chew
on wood.
Next meeting is on
March 19.
