Minor basketball returns to Seaforth By Jason Middleton Expositor Staff Local children will get the chance to shoot some hoops when minor basketball returns to Seaforth for the third year. Seaforth recreation facilities manager, Dale Lamont, said that some people are looking forward to minor basketball beginning again. "Last year we had lots of participants and we had some high school kids helping out," Lamont said. "It was a very good program." Seaforth minor basketball organizer Kathy Huether said that minor basketball will be split into two age groups – six to 10 year olds and 10 to 14 year olds. She said that there was a greater turnout for the program last year than she thought there would be. "I'm glad that the response is there," said Huether. "It's good to see a response from the community." Lamont said that last year there were a lot of people involved with minor basketball who said that they would like to get involved again this year. In a few weeks, Lamont said, he will send a flyer with details about the minor basketball to local schools. "We usually get a good response with that," said Lamont. Huether said that this year she hopes to organize some games against the teams in the Clinton minor basketball program. nevi Ix• ,nue to put urn n Brides special section at the oto$ o bite wedding checklist.
