Dent CAMPBELL-VANDEN HOVEN, Kimberly: It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Kimberly Anne Campbell -Vanden Hoven on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at the age of 44 at her residence in Collingwood with her family by her side. Beloved wife of Adrian Vanden Hoven for seventeen years. Cherished daughter of Ken and Joan Campbell (Somerville) of Seaforth and dear daughter-in-law of Antonie and Catherine Vanden Hoven. Dear sister of Kevin (Susan) Campbell of Seaforth and Brad (Brenda) Campbell of RR 4, Walton. Dear sister-in-law of Elizabeth (Carlos) Sousa of London, Monica (Jim) Smits of Gadshill, Marie (Bob) Litt of Seaforth, Catherine Wammes of Clinton, Tony (Donna) Vanden Hoven of Thorndale, Cor (Gerda) Vanden Hoven of Seaforth, John (Nellie) Vanden Hoven of Monkton, Helena Mulder of Monkton and George Stevers of Gadshill. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Kim will be lovingly remembered by her many aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by sister-in- law Margaret Stevers, brothers-in- law John Wammes and John Mulder and grandparents, Robert and Lilly Campbell and Archie and Cora Somerville. Kim grew up in McKillop Township and attended Seaforth District High School and graduated from Alma College in St. Thomas. She then went on to com- plete her bachelor of arts degree at the University of Guelph. On the completion of her degree she worked on Parliament Hill in Ottawa for two members of parliament, Murray Cardiff and Lawrence O'Neil. Shortly after her marriage to Adrian, they moved permanently to Collingwood where she worked at Becker's Shoes for several years. It was an ideal home for Kim, as it allowed her to enjoy two of her favourite sports, sailing in the sum- mer, and skiing in the winter. Then two years ago she fulfilled her dream of owning her own business when she purchased the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory fran- chise. Kim was very proud of her store and put her whole heart and soul into its success. Even when she found out about her illness, she faced it with courage, dignity and grace. As was her wish, she passed away quietly at her home surround- ed by her family and the many pic- tures, cards and gestures of love that she had received from her rel- atives and friends. Visitation was held at the Box and Smith Funeral Chapel, Seaforth, on Sunday, January 23, 2005 with the funeral service being held at the Northside United Church, Seaforth, on Monday, January 24, 2005 at 2 p.m. Mr. Bruce Whitmore and Reverend John Gould officiated. A memorial service to celebrate Kim's life will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the Trinity United Church, Maple Street, Collingwood. As expressions of sympathy memo- rial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to Hospice would be greatly appreciated. As a ma tribute to the life of Kim, a tree will be planted in her memo- ry. 42-04-1 S • Q. t • i is 1APPY NOTA' a .* Birthdays Anniversaries Buck & Does _ Parties from s20 + GST o * Drop by * The Huron Expositor • • today! * *V 99.
