Karissa Eckert Grade 2 St. James If I were Santa I would give presents to the poor. I would go around and give presents to children. I would have lots of elves. 1 would go all around the world. I would have nine reindeer. I would eat every cookie left for me. Kiernyn Campbell Grade 2 St. James If I were Santa I would try to make the world better. I would make toys for poor kids all over the world. 1 would try to make people laugh and smile and make their lives easier. The bad people will begin to stop and begin a new life. I would make Canada the best land in all the world. Sarah Devereaux Grade 2 St. James If I were Santa I would make toys for the poor kids. I would build houses for people that need them. I would make a store where you didn't need any money. I will help people that need help. 1 would give out extra toys at Christmas. Wil Marcy Grade 2 St. James If I were Santa I would explore. Wade Lammerant Grade 2 St. James If I were Santa I would help all of the people that are poor and do not have sHelter and food. I would give not as many gifts to the people that have money to spend. I would give most of the gifts to the poor people. I would not help go and make toys for the poor. I would give them food and medicine to keep them not be sick and clothing to keep them warm at night. Also shelter to block the rain from getting the children and to not get hypothermia. I would visit all of the poor countries and find out everything that they need and try to give them it. I would really want to put a smile on their faces. I also could help them to get more money. If I were Santa Claus I would sit down with the elves and tell them not to make toys and give candy away. Instead I would tell them how to sew clothing, make food for the hungry or to make shelter for the homeless. This way, everyone would have a roof to sleep under and have medicine for the sick. If 1 were Santa Claus I would do all of these great things because I want the world to be a better place and people not to be sick anymore. With appreciation for all the goodwill you've shown us this past year. Thanks! Simon and Yolanda VPiNDRIEL VanDriel and staff EXCAVATING INC. CLINTON 482-3783 SEAFORTH 527-0609 A IA w /f / were Santa, / would use a flying car If I were Santa I would change a lot of things because it would be a big responsibility and I should have fun with the job. I would change the colour of my suit to light blue. I would choose blue because it is my favourite colour. I do not like red. Red is the colour of blood and I think that it may remind people of sad times like war. I would have longer holidays. Christmas is a time of happiness. When children are in school •they are not happy! Also it would let parents spend more time with their children. The last thing I would do is to retire the reindeer and use a flying car. The reindeer get worn out after every flight and I feel like it is abusing them. A flying car would be a lot faster and I could get more sleep! Also I am a great driver and it would be a lot of fun to have a flying car. This is what I would change if I were Santa but I would change a lot more than that but it will do. Merry Christmas. Jynelle Nearing Grade 6 St. James If I were Santa I would be making a lot of changes at the North Pole. The elves would still make the toys for children the same as always, but instead of me going out on Christmas Eve the elves would be doing it. Since the elves are much smaller in size than I am, about 10 or so would fit into the sleigh. My 10 special elves would be delivering presents around the world. Then reindeer would still fly them from country to country. Once the reindeer fly the elves to a continent, the 10 elves will split up and go on snowmobiles where there is snow and 4 - wheelers where there is dry land. Ten elves will get the job done much faster than Santa. They will have more speed than me too, because they are smaller and lighter. I will remain at the North Pole this year and be online with the elves. The elves will have wireless laptops with them and can email me whenever they want. They can check the weather at any location ahead of time through the interne. My list of good boys and girls will not be a paper one this year. Instead it will be on a database on the laptop. The elves can call me with their cellphones anytime if there is a problem. My cell phone number is easy to remember - 1-800-555- HOHO. I believe I will make the wife a lot happier this year because I will be at home with her on Christmas Eve. Santy's going to sit back and take it a little easier this year! Jeff DeCorte Grade 6 St. James If I were Santa I would bring peace to the world. I would stop the wars. I would make peace contracts with every country on every continent. Every Christmas I would give out free X -boxes and Game Boy Advance SPs and all the coolest games with them. Joey Fonseca Grade 2 St. James
