Fifty-nine of Dublin's
young adults received the
sacrament of confirmation by
Bishop Fabbro on Wednesday,
Dec. 1.

Unwrapped gifts for a boy or
girl 0-16 years of age can be
dropped off at either church or
the parish office on or before
Dec. 21.
St. Patrick's School concert
is Thursday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m.
at St. Patrick's School. A dress
rehearsal will he held today at
1:15 p.un.
Curling team wins zone competition
The Legion zone curling was
held at week or so ago and both
teams qualified to move on to
districts which will be held in
Palmerston. The winning team
of Gord Pryce, Mike Thomas,
Gord Dick and Gary Freeman
brought the trophy back to the
branch.
The annual Christmas party
for the children will be held on
Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. Those parents

The Ladies Auxiliary had
their annual supper catered to
by the men of the brunch. Paul
Spittal had the honour of being
the head cook this year. By the
reports, it was enjoyed by all.

On Saturday night a surprise
farewell was held for Ron
before he leaves on his
wanderings. He was a good
bartender. Have fun Ron.

and in the morning we will
remember them.

Residents decorate doors at Queensway
The women of Bethel
Reform Church in Exeter
provided assistance and
prizes at the Monday
afternoon bingos for the
month of November at
Queensway Nursing and
Retirement Home in Hensall.
Following the games they
joined residents for
refreshments and a time of
singing favourite hymns and
Christmas carols.
Resident council met
Friday, Nov. 26 to discuss the
many upcoming Christmas
events as well as their
Queensway
opinions on recent scheduled
events.
Gail Mason and her
Fellowship Singers presented
a Gospel Music program
Sunday afternoon Nov. 28 for
residents.

residents travelled via two
Murphy Bus Lines Mobility
Buses throughout Exeter and
Hensall to view the many
beautiful Christmas light
displays. Drivers Louise and
Judy gave Queensway
residents the tour with the
grand finale being a stop at
Dairy Queen for ice cream
cones.
Friday, Dec. 3, the
Retirement Horne Lounge
was filled to capacity with
residents and guests enjoying
the lively music of Andy Rau
and his friends, Jim Love,
Ivan Norris. Phyllis Deichert
and Lois Hodgins.
Family and friends
decorated the residents'
doors. Judging will take
place Dec. 24 at 3 p.m.

Hensall United Church.

noon and afterwards, Bob

sing.

Wedding
Announcement
Theresa & Jonathan Hugill
On Saturday, August 14, 2004, Theresa Marie, (daughter of
Maxine-McClory) and MaxinecClory) and Jonathan Abrahham ouis,
(son of Doug and Gail Hugill) were united in marriage. The
wedding ceremony took place in Seaforth, at the Northside
United Church, with Reverand John Gould officiating.
Candles were lit in memory of Rachael Broome, Ted Brown,
Harold D. Hugill, and Roger D. McClory. Cheryl Anne
StOnge was the_soloist who sang When Two Become One by
Melody Dyer and There You Are by Martina McBride, with
Margaret Whitmore as the organist. The readings
Corinthians 13:1-7 and Matthew 19:4-6 were reay special
friends of the bride Sadie Bridgeman and Jennifer
Windfield. The main of honour was the bride's sister,
Amanda McClory and the bridesmaids were Erin
Camochan, Marsha Denys, Becky Jervis, Michele Forsyth,
Kim Janmaat, and Carolyn Litt all close friends of the bride.
The best men were the groom's brothers Doug Jr. and Jason
Hugill. Groomsmen were Scott Jervis and Patrick
Devereaux, friends of the groom, Harold Hugill, cousin of
the groom, Randy McClure, friend of the groom, and Dave
McClory, brother of the bride. The flower girls were two
"precious angels" Samantha Kerr and Brooklyn Rau. The
service was held at 2:30 in the afternoon and a reception
followed later that evening at the Seaforth & District
Community Centres, where Brent Ribey and Becky Jervis
provided the Master of Ceremony Speeches. The couple
honeymooned at Maya Riviera, Mexico leaving the day
after the wedding. Theresa and Jonathan now reside at R.R.
# 2 Seaforth, where Jon continues to farm and Theresa is a
high school teacher for the deaf at Robarts School in
London. Thank you to our wedding party, fancily and friends for'
joining us on our special day; your love and support will never
