Several area people
attended the Episcopal
Ordination of Father Tony
Daniels as a bishop in the
Roman Catholic Church. The
event was held at St. Peter's
Cathedral Basilica in
London, which was filled to
capacity by pastors and lay
people from all across the
diocese.
The resplendent occasion
was highlighted by a
magnificent liturgy complete
with trumpets and handbells.
At the end, Bishop Daniels
gave his blessing to all
St. Columban
present.
A reception held at the
Convention Centre in London
was attended by several civil
officials and dignitaries.
Bishop Daniels will be living
in Windsor and immediately
begin his duties as Auxiliary
Bishop for the Diocese of
London, assisting Bishop

Legion met with very good
turnout at Remembrance
Day ceremony
Seaforth Legion
The weather co-operated at
Remembrance Day this year
allowing us to march to the
cenotaph where we met a
very good turnout of children
and adults. We also had a
record amount of wreaths to
be laid, we thank those who
participated.
On returning to the branch,
we all enjoyed a hot bowl of
chili which was appreciated
after being out in the cool
breeze.
Also in attendance was
Chris Black with Rick
Fortune providing
entertainment, Later in the
afternoon, the pipe band from
Clinton and Qoderich
dropped by to entertain.
The Remembrance banquet
was held on Saturday evening
with a lesser than normal
attendance. Never -the -less,
the meal as usual was great.
After Carol Carter
entertained us on the piano
with Rick on the drums. The
word in the branch is that
Property Chairman, Ed Baker
is concerned about the rear
roof as all the shingles are in
one lump?
Cribbage will start on Nov.
