33 -year-old man
charged after
fleeing an
accident scene
A 33 -year-old Elderslie
Township mart was charged
after he fled a two -vehicle
crash that occurred at the
intersection of Jamestown
Road and Molesworth Line
last Wednesday afternoon.
A 1989 green Pontiac
driven by a 45 -year-old male
from Morris-TUrnberry had
been driving southbound on
Molesworth Line when a
vehicle failed to stop for a
stop sign and hit the side of
the vehicle.
The other vehicle, a blue
1987 Mercury Topaz, failed
to stop and was discovered
later by an officer on Johnson
Line just off Highway 86.
The driver of the' Mercury
Topaz was changed with
failing to'remain at the scene
of an accident and disobeying
a stop sign.
