Coaches' comments: Meaghan
0' Reilly opened scoring as a
Byron defender tried to clear the
ball from goal area only to have
the ball blocked by O'Reilly
forcing the ball into the Byron
net. After Byron had equalized
Janis Kaspersma sent a corner
.kick headed into the back of the
goal. Byron equalizes again.
With five minutes remaining
Julianne Ryan blasted a failed
clearing attempt into the back of
the Byron gout. Yet again with
two minutes remaining Byron
tied the score. Irishtown 11
finished in eighth place out of a
nine -team division. Five points
clear of last, one point out of
seventh aryl four points out of
sixth.
Made great strides compared
to 2003 season. More than
doubled season points totals (7
in 2003 to 15 in 2004). Score 19
goals in 2004 compared to just 8
in 2003. Allow 28 goals
compared to 40 in 2003.
